Just got a call from Peter Gruber. My car was in for PEM service. There was a fire in his building last night and 25 Roadster were destroyed in the fire. Such a tragic loss.

Well this is a disaster. I'm beside myself. How could this happen, again?

I have not been updated, but my Roadster 1196 has been at Gruber Motors for the last 43 days awaiting PEM repair. I got an emailed from them Friday that the repairs were 65% completed. I'm at a loss for words at the moment.

Apparently it was 20+ Roadsters that perished in the fire.

Thankfully reports are that nobody was hurt, but what a tragic event for the Roadster community.

He Is personally calling everyone. He said all of the Roadsters that were in for service were destroyed as they were all inside the one building for safety.

OMG. That is the second time it happened to them. In 2017 they also had a huge fire.
With a big loss of Roadsters.

If as expected, total loss, burned almost beyond recognition, if similar to the first fire...

Very sad loss for the owners expecting their babies back to them, especially with the new batteries coming from Tesla for the bricked ones...

Terrible news for the Roadster community . There is no one more passionate about Roadsters than Pete. It’s companies like Gruber that keep passion for Roadsters alive. Hoping he rebuilds even bigger and better.
