Roadster MPG - another computation

All of these claims that the Roadster doesn't use any oil at all are hooey.

I looked in the owners' manual, and it clearly says that the Roadster holds 1.6 quarts of brake fluid and 1.4 quarts of transmission fluid. If it "uses" them up in, say, 48,000 miles (there's no service interval for them that I could see), then by my analysis it gets 48K/0.75 = 64K miles per gallon.

However, this might be a little unfair to the Roadster, because you can recycle used brake and transmission fluid, so it's not totally wasting the three-quarters of a gallon it blows through every few years.

:) (I just wanted to claim 64,000 miles per gallon, no matter how bogus the logic.)
