How many are stuck charging 16A single phase?

nope, 13A.
IIRC, Tesla had to dial back the current to 13A for CH spec Roadsters for charging from standard 240V 16A household socket. That's 3kW.
My impression of the people of Switzerland is, they will go above and beyond such hassle and install what money can buy to accommodate a suitable feed for their electric babies.
