The eBay listing has more images. You can also ask the seller of the item. From the images, they look a really light grey. It's interesting that the rear carbon fiber (?) is exposed. I thought the entire rear was also in leather.

The back is exposed on the 1.5 seats.

I think people are bankin in scarcity without recognizing the limited market. Lots of parts are being listed at 2x to 3x above what identical parts have sold. I’ve seen two painted tops go for under $1,000 recently. Many other parts are outdated with less/costly and better alternatives, but people still ask top dollar.

$600 seems excessive. They cost $30-$40 new. I have two because I bought one for my wife (at her request!) and later Tesla sent one as a gift to all the Roadster owners. The RC is el cheapo -- binary on/off, not proportional -- so I had a lot of trouble trying to drive it in any reasonable way. Of course, @bmah's kid who has many more miles of RC experience was able to drive it much better than I could.

I haven't looked to sell one because I was thinking I might be able to buy a higher quality RC platform to replace the original and I might need two sets of parts to complete the transformation.

I've got a dead cable like this too. If I cut the wall plug / GFCI end off like this one, could I just wire on a 240v plug and charge? How would one use the cable and car plug end only?
