Roadster Carbon Fiber Hard Top - Jet Black - $2,500

My new home needs an entirely new breaker setup for EV charging, so I'm reluctantly letting my hard top go to help with the expense. These are no longer in production, as most of you know, and this one had all new mounting hardware added for $440.36, which took six months to procure from Tesla.
Asking $2,500. Feel free to message for more photos / details.
Hey can you send more pics please.

The Wheel Specialists (Wheel Specialists, Inc.), your neighbor in Tempe, have machined some custom forged rims for the Roadster.

I know these are on one Roadster locally (and I think you know that owner):

Nurburgring Alloy Wheels by TSW

Might want to reach out and see what other lightweight options there are now.

Too heavy, haha! I'm talking 14/15 lbs... I think I'll have to go custom forged to get what I want tho...

I went with a pair of these and moved the rears to the front.

Rugged Ridge Gloss Black Trek 8 Wheels 15307.02

I'm running 245/40 on the rear and 205/40 in the front. This setup reduces the understeer tremendously. I'm not sure what the weight of the new rims are, but the OEM are not that heavy...probably in the high teens.

If you are indeed looking to keep the weight in the low to mid teens, I'd suggest looking at road racing wheels for Miatas or some other model that is readily available. Make sure that they are a 5 bolt, because you can usually have them redrilled to a 5x110 pattern... more difficult to convert a 4 lug to a 5 lug. Also, make sure the offset is close or can be corrected with a spacer (don't want something with a "deep dish" or negative offset that can't be corrected). If it has a negative offset and is close to what you want, you might be able to mill a bit off the mounting surface of the wheel, but that would all be dependent on how much material you have.

Anytime you go down the "custom" route, it all gets expensive.

I don't think I'm telling you anything new.

Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

Henry

I still have HCSharp adapter Jr ("J"1772) for sale. Just the early plain unit which was always kept in plastic bag between seat and door frame, as Providence intended. Bulletproof packing as always.

Set of 4 Momo rims esp good for winter abuse or just testing out rubber. Fronts are just a tad wider than stock but the rubber fits fine. To be picked up in WY/CO/ID/OR/WA somewhere convenient. Gold-ish color rash-free. I can cut off the existing old rubber, probably will do so.

PM me, no reasonable offer refused.

I want to buy the hyperlites that are 7x16 et 41 and 7.5x17 et41 which I was going to use 5mm spacers, but they refuse to sell them to me stating they will not fit.

How many wheels do you have, I would like to buy them. I have a black forged set fresh out of powder coating, same wheels as the ones in my photo to the left but black.
