The value proposition is great. I would suggest about 10,000; maybe more if it was advertised more. Tesla is a much more mature and well-known company now than it was in the days of MS and MX reservations.
When I first saw a prop of the original MS at the Frankfurt Auto show (IAA) a few years before the release of the car, I thought people were crazy to put down a huge deposit (30,000 Euro) for a company that had little to show.
Later I joined the crazy ones; the rest is history.

If the numbers are good, I am expecting Tesla to release them. Could definitely give a bump to SP.
For founder, the expect 10 days for all cash to be wired, so I think it might take some time another few weeks - if they do decide to make the numbers public.

I don't think they'll want to make the numbers public; no need. We'll see them on Customer Deposits, muddied.
Was just thinking in line with why initially M3 reservation numbers were released
A salesman told me I was in 3-digits, meaning under 1,000 on my Roadster order. They had also not filled the Founder's series roadsters, which are limited to 1,000.

I'm going for 4500, meaning 1000 Founders editions and 3500 regular versions. Basically only the Founders edition gives the rich any incentive to immediately order ('cause else they don't have access to this exclusive vehicle). Exclusivity is key with these rich people toys.
We have an alternative - 50K for a car that is essentially the same in performance. I would say that holds back 250K on a Founder's order.

I think the company is at a different stage of its life cycle than in April of 2016. I would expect disclosures to decline going forward.

Hi VA. Not a big surprise. I would be hesitant to give Tesla a $250k interest-free loan with no escrow. I would just wait until I could walk in to buy one. The regular version will be just as much fun to drive as a Founder's edition and I could use the other $50k to buy my girlfriend a Model 3. That would make everyone happy! lol

Founders series is still available for reservation on the Tesla website. I keep trying to get someone I know to sell his AMG Mercedes and order a Roadster, but he hasn’t done it yet...

Seems about 190,060,000 more for 2017 => extra 190,060 Model 3 ? but we know some must be for SEMI
50 SEMI => 50 x 20,000 = $1,000,000 and we know of a couple of companies have announced that.
