I had a shallow, 8" subwoofer from Kicker installed (separate Rockford Fosgate amps though)...the installer put a rheostat in so I could increase / decrease the amount of bass of the fly...in conjunction with the more powerful amps, the sound is very good...my set up is not for everyone though...I had to install a 50 ah 12v Lithium battery (that I have to charge separately) in the trunk, and, I had to sacrifice some passenger side footwell room as that is where I had the sub installed...the sacrificing of footwell room didn't matter to me as I normally drive alone...when my wife does come along for a drive, the lesser footwell room doesn't matter to her (as she's on the shorter side) and she can still ride comfortably.
