I called Menlo Park service and asked about the upgrades listed here:
Roadster Upgrades | Tesla Motors

According to the guy I spoke to, these are no longer available. Not sure if he was well-informed - he had to put me on hold a few times to go ask someone.
Anyone have a better experience?

Which specific upgrades are you looking to do?

My experience is that you can still order the parts as needed.

When I had to replace my front bumper from minor accidently, I had the body shop order the 2.5 bumper. We ended up had to order like 5 more additional parts to make it a "complete conversion" but order those weren't an issue.

And this was done after the 2.5 fascia upgrade was removed from the website.

Sounds like upgrades are being treated differently from repairs. An upgrade is to make the car nicer, while a repair brings the car back to respectable. Roadster parts are just going to get harder to source. IMO just upgrading because you can which makes parts more scarce is a waste.

Around here (No. Ca.), the wait time for a service appointment for important repairs is 3-5 weeks depending on the location. Based on rumor and innuendo, I believe the No. Ca. represents about 25% of Tesla sales.
I think that Tesla just doesn't want any upgrades in the service centers right now so they have cut them off altogether.

Is that delay for all vehicles or just Roadsters?

Guys, I just found a great connection to have upgrades and maintenance work performed on our Roadsters. Its Dietsch Werks located in San Jose, California. He's able to get any parts we need from Tesla for the Roadster. He's also very familiar with the double din audio installations / upgrades as well as other performance support. I just had an aftermarket adjustable shock/spring setup by Nitron installed in my Roadster and very pleased. Feel free to call Rob the owner to inquire about your upgrade needs. You'll be in good hands and he'll most likely schedule you in before Tesla will. He also is an expert for repair if the Roadster was in a collision. He has an excellent connection for a paint shop and is skilled at putting the CF pieces back together like stock. He also can do insurance claims. Here's his website:
