I hope you didn't get into a syndicate because after splitsies there may not be enough....
No you can't, Roadsters had their own Tesla proprietary charge port with a twist-on connector.
A must have accessory for the Roadster is The Can which allows you to charge with a J1772.

There is also the JdeMo that allows you to DC quick charge a Roadster with a CHAdeMo connecter but involves significant installation. So how you would get that installed here in Australia is a question for the maker.

TOCA is seeking EOI's from people wanting to join the club on a new membership level to be known as Maximum Plaid Membership. It will be available as a new membership for non members or as an upgrade from any current TOCA membership level.
The cost will be variable depending on how many and which days people are interested in. Basically, (and subject to an exchange rate of around US$0.75) the pricing will be $8500 for a week, $3200 for a weekend, 1 Weekday $1200, 2 Weekdays $2380, 3 Weekdays $3540, 4 Weekdays $4680, 5 Weekdays $5750.
These prices are paid once only and entitles the member to have the use of a Next Gen Roadster for that block of time for each and every year they remain a member and for as long as the Roadster is capable of being driven.
In addition to that once off fee, there is a joining fee to join TOCA of $20, and an annual membership fee of $100 which gives the member all the additional rights as a Full Member of the club.
Current members not at the Full Membership level, will have to upgrade their membership to take advantage of the Maximum Plaid membership.
Due to insurance requirements and constraints membership acceptance will be limited according to the insurer's risk profiling.
Membership will also be limited to 329 days per year, which will also limit numbers of members by how many days and type each member wants. Priority for membership will be based on highest to lowest number of days each member wants.
We anticipate (should the program go ahead) that the Next Gen Roadster will be ordered around late Jan/early Feb after all the fine details are worked out.
In anticipation of questions: The program (vehicle, insurance, maintenance, service, tyres etc) will be fully funded by the once off membership payments, anticipated marketing/promotional revenues, casual (controlled) short term paid uses etc.; There will be no cross subsidies from other membership levels; the program is open to all members from all states in Australia; whilst we shall endeavour to give members their dates of requested use each year, the constraints of moving the vehicle from one user to the next will take precedence so as the vehicle moves in an orderly fashion around the country; Whilst there are still issues to work through, one of the main ones is in the case of a bad accident or write off. We would envisage in a write off, the vehicle would either be replaced with a satisfactory insurance cover reinstated, or the payout would be paid back to the membership based on a yet to be calculated reasonable expectation of usage over a reasonable expectation of vehicle life. In the case of a bad accident where the vehicle was out of service for a time, a yet to be decided plan of action will be established. We would expect the insurance premiums to be reasonable with excesses high. Advice is currently being sought on these matters, however we would expect that the high excesses onus will be the responsibility of the member in possession.

Of course, Dave this is not a joke and it is also not syndication. You can find lots of questions and answers on our Facebook page. There has been a surprising number of enquiries and at this stage probably more than enough participants to make it happen, however we still have to go through the exercise of having the insurance company happy with the level and number of responsible drivers and those that respect their fellow members to ensure that everyone the same enjoyment from the program. For this and other reasons, the numbers wanting to get on board at this stage will be different to those that eventually do.
