Rock chip, cracked glass roof... uh oh

I heard a nasty crack driving on the free way a few days ago and noticed a rock hit the top of the windshield and nailed the glass roof, causing a large chip and a crack about 2" inches long.

Tesla quoted me $1200 for the windshield but my service center has never replaced a glass roof. They are looking into it now.

Anyone else experience this or have an idea on what I might be spending?

I took a rock to the leading edge of my glass roof when my car was about 3 weeks old. Quarter-sized chip, thankfully no cracking beyond that. I had an auto glass place come out and attempt a resin fill/repair - it's nearly invisible now and has held for 6 months. For $40 I figured it was worth a shot - I shudder to think what a replacement would cost.
