Roof Rack /Box installed. Causing AC issues?

Roof rack on.

However, I think the slight overhang is interfering somehow with the climate control. It is almost like the daylight sensor thinks it is night and turns down my AC... HUGE issue if the two are truly connected.

All carriers will have overhang due to the far forward placement of the first crossbar. The carrier is a Yakima (who I believe also made the rails for Tesla) and is as far back as it can go.

Hope I am wrong...

I did. And pumped up the fan using manual mode. Just trying to sort out if I have an actual issue with the car or one caused by the box

This is a real world problem lol. I would think it doesn't really on day or night sensor; just the temperature inside the cabin. But only tesla folks would know this answer.

Yes - haha. It is that for sure.

Might be a software issue. Odd it would start today though.
