Roof Rack Snowboard Orientation

    I have a stack of snowboards without bindings on the Whisbar WB300. I can't find a good answer on if the snowboards should go tips up or down. Taking a 26hr trip so even a small number of watts per mile savings would be huge.

    I have always felt that down is better
    just gut feeling that drag would be less

    I saw someone with a longboard on a car pointing forward and up and it looked like it might break! it was bouncing up from the wind like crazy

    bindings down, IMHO. But if you're seating less than 5, I would use the split folding seat and not incur any loss.

    I did mine bindings down....took almost 25%-50% hit during winter driving plus elevation change etc....I envy you...we need cold temps by us. Hehe have fun
