Rubber on pedals

Took delivery of a MY LR 2021 on 2/17. Just noticed the brake pedal has rubber around it, but the accelerate pedal is just plastic. Is this normal or was it missed?

Mine came with a rubber pad on the brake pedal, but nothing was on the "gas" pedal. It didn't have anything on it.
