If it is still 86 cells per group, 12 additional groups for a total of 108 * 86 = 9288 cells. How? I wasn’t under the impression there was that much empty space to fit two more modules in there.

Even if you don’t need all that range all the time a 120 kWh pack will require fewer charge cycles and in theory will last longer.
