It is Tuesday. Time for a bit of rumour mongering.

Is anyone else wondering why it is taking Tesla so long to come out with the 3 phase 32A and single phase 80A high power wall connectors for Mennekes Type II Europe/Asia? We don't even have the proper cable hanger yet! (although some enterprising chap in China has worked around that last problem for us - ÌØ˹À Tesla ³äµçÆ÷ Ö§¼Ü ¹Ò¼þ ¹Ò¼Ü ÌØ˹ÀÖйú³µÖ÷רÓÃ-ÌÔ±¦Íø).

Three phase means simply changing the breaker from 1 to 3 phase. 40A->80A is just higher-rated components. So, why so long? Approval process? Time to focus and get it done?

Or, something better?

Tesla's next charger will automatically connect to your car, 'for realz'

Btw, we are actually working on a charger that automatically moves out from the wall & connects like a solid metal snake. For realz.

We can dream, right?
