I got to my car today at work and saw an orenge dot it came of with my fingertip so didn't think anymore about it. Then 10 mins later had the chance to look again I saw a few more dots so I thought has somthing splashed me which wouldn't supprise me at my work.
Then whilst driving home I was like wait wtf I can't be having pitting on my bonnet it's ceramic coated....

So I took a picture which I hope has attached and cleaned the bonnet with some Maguires waterless.
If I see orenge back again I'm going to have to make an apointment and check the paint for pitting.
Any advice for the argument I'm bound to have?

To make maters worse this car has been ceramic coated so Durley should t be able to get oxygen through paint even if it had a slight pinpric?

Are you seeing what's below the colour due to the paint being very thin.

On a few occasions, I have seen an orange maybe golden tinge to the paint, even though it is meant to be blue. I just assumed that this was what was below the colour showing through in extreme lighting conditions.

Guys it was a few well a lot of orenge spots could be fallout like one suggested as it was gone and couldn't feel a pinprick after a maguares waterless. I think being near an airfield and the rain constantly on it isn't helping. So I'll keep my eyes out and update as appropriate

@M3BlueGeorgia disagrees with my comment that the M3 doesn't have much aluminium in it - I'll concede that to a point but it has substantially less aluminium in its construction than previous Tesla models. Otherwise it would be significantly more expensive to build and insure. The bonnet (hood) is not steel so is most likely to be aluminium.
