S door handles red hot!

Every time it gets hot and my car is in thew sun, the door handles on my S get so hot they literally burn my fingers. I've never had a car with chrome door handles that do that. Anyone else experience this?

These are helpful and not too difficult to install. Plus, if you get carbon fiber it shaves a second off your 0-60 time.

Most vehicles the handle hangs out in the air and gets some cooling airflow, Tesla sits flush with door till needed.

My car is white and I just have the simple over the top stickers not a full wrap and even this helps a lot.

I have the fuzzy part of Velcro tape applied to the inside part of the handle (the surface you actually pull against). It remains cool to the touch and you still get the original chrome look of the handles.

Yes. I just refer to that as a “love bite” from our P85D. She is a bit temperamental in the summer.
