SacEV: National Drive Electric Week Events, Davis 9/12 and Roseville 9/20

SacEV'ers,


Here's an update on September's National Drive Electric Week. This year we will be working with partners for two events, one in Roseville and one in Davis.

We are working together with Roseville Electric and the Sacramento Clean Cities Coalition for a Roseville event. The good news is that we secured the Roseville Fountains, a high foot-traffic venue for Sunday, September 20th. And more good news is that David Link has volunteered to be the event manager (with my promise that he will get help as needed from other SacEV members).

The second National Drive Electric Week event for our region is in Davis. SacEV is teaming up with Cool Davis, and the Sacramento Clean Cities coalition to put it on. The Davis event will be held on the prior Saturday, September 12th. Cool Davis' Shelby Kelley (also a SacEV member) is the event manager for the Davis event.

We'll be planning test drives at both events.

Please thank David and Shelby for taking on these roles and I hope you'll be able join us at one, or the other, or both events.

Awesome. This will be a nice little Tesla meet up in Davis. I'm amazed at how many there are in town now.

I am up for the Davis one - did Folsom last time and my son will be starting at UC Davis the following week.
