Here's the current CHAdeMO data in Japan. under 20kW 27 20kW 1466 21-30kW 1245 31-40kW 227 41-44kW 1344 45-50kW 558 I now think it is a cost of letting a lot of people understand. Probably it is quickest to go Tesla's path, but it takes time and there are some uncertainties. Nissan/BMW/Audi is probably making mistakes, at the same time supporting sizable number of smaller electric vehicles. Once these <50kW CHAdeMOs and CCS Combo1s are installed, car manufacturers will be ready to produce EVs with larger batteries, and they will notice the requirement for >100kW charging. Audi seems to follow Tesla's path.
Most of them in Japan I guess? How many outside of Japan? How many in the US? Where are the chargers outside of a few Nissan dealers?
Very many Nissan LEAFs in the USA with CHAdeMO. Go to plugshare.com and set filter for CHAdeMO... Lots of non-Nissan dealers... "Electrify America", "Blink", "EVgo", "Charegpoint", etc.
I'm sure that's not all of them either. Bet it'd show more if you zoomed in on regions. I know of several in the NJ/NY area.
