Yes, I anticipated buying the 40A Wall Connector with builtin 14-50plug.

I've heard about swapping the plug on the standard Wall Connector.. do you get the full 48A for your model 3?
My Model 3 doesn't get any amps....still waiting on the car. :D

A hard-wired Wall Connector has a rotary switch to limit the charging current for a given application. In my case, it is set for a 50A breaker/outlet. That means it will not charge a car more than 40A.

Where can you find wall connector with 14-50plug and what amp does it charger the car at
It's my understanding it has been discontinued and was non-adjustable to 50A beaker/40A charge.
