The good news is that installations continue in between version updates (probably to those who have reached 99 or 100 safety scores).

Okay, so it seems like you got the email 2 days after obtaining the 99. By that logic, it means I should be getting mine today. If I don’t have it by tomorrow I’ll just give up.

Barely, but yes. Wonder if the new features will be included in the beta FSD release on Saturday morning, or if that will remain on the .36 branch.

102 miles exactly over two trips, back to back. Never reset. Just opted in, and drove two trips.
I don’t see anything necessarily useful in .40 though. Or am I missing something?

Active Road Noise Cancelling (ARNC) is listed as a feature by noted Tesla hacker greentheonly, but at least some Canadians who downloaded this software aren't showing this feature at all.

No noise cancelling for YOU! For everyone else, YES. For @jebinc, it's ARNA (Active Road Noise Augmentation).
From the @jebinc-specficic patch notes, version 2021.40.JEBINC.
Your vehicle now has the ability to actively increase low-frequency road noise while driving on rough surfaces. To accomplish this, the system uses the seat microphones to measure the noise in the cabin, then generates additional noise through the speakers to create loud zones around the occupants.
To access, tap Audio Settings > Options > Active Road Noise Augmentation.

Scary. Does this also enhance, um, bodily function noises, too?
I came from a modded Evo so I’m still getting used to the amount of noise there is in the car, or lack there of. I don’t think I’m ready to handle any less noise at this point in my life
