Saleen's "cut gears" to make the screaming sound is optional.

You can get lower gear without the sound making.

Saleen never verified their improved cooling for track performance or their claim that the design changes improved aerodynamics. If true then improved aerodynamics increase highway range.

They make/made claims of "better" without putting a number on it much less third party verification.
