Salt Water Boat Launch

Need first hand experience of launching boat in to salt water environment - concerns, practices, damages?

Try not to go too deep and hose off the underside after.
I assure you an occasional boat launch is NOTHING compared to those of us who have to deal with road practically gravelled with salt all winter. My wife's red car can look white/gray at times

I couldn't agree more. In the NE, my black X turns into a dalmation during the winter - white with black spots.
