San Antonio - River walk - Where to dine and charge?

I am going to the river walk area for several days. Any recommendation as far as restaurants goes. looking for real authentic experience (no tex mex or tourist-ish shenanigans )

Also any tips for location with HWPC would be perfect. of course i will check out plugshares.com but would love your input.

Schilo's is a must-stop for us every time; German food and homemade root beer just steps away from the Riverwalk. Also open for breakfast.

Up late? Mi Tierra is open 24 hours and is free of touristy shenanigans or Americanized menus... the real deal, right down there in Market Square.

Charging I have no idea. I'd want a 120V plug at the hotel, and just walk everywhere except Sea World and the Zoo.

They have a Magic Time Machine in SA if you've never had THAT experience.

"The Esquire Tavern", used to be frequented by Jack Kerouac, and is talked about in "On the road"., cool place. As far as "authentic", and not text mex.. It's difficult down town on the river. Go up to the Pearl and eat at LA Gloria for some great authentic food. Still on the river, just down Broadway a couple of miles from city center. And you should be able to locate chargers there.
