He only impeded the truck because it was going like a bat out of hell. It's not clear the truck was even in sight when he pulled out.

The F150 is visible about 1/4 mile behind the Tesla as it turns onto the street, rapidly closing the gap and then executing an illegal passing maneuver across solid double yellow lines.

The hit and run and the reckless driving (if cited) each are two points on his driving record at DMV. His insurance company will not be very pleased....

Remember (years ago, before my Tesla) getting smashed into while struggling in bumper to bumper traffic on 101, guy was driving a huge late seventies Eldorado, after hitting me, pulls into the other lane and that’s the last I see him. I’m standing there alone holding up traffic, fecklessly, so I leave, CHP did find him via his plate number which I did get, knocks on the guys door, but he never answered, case closed...well before traffic cams. Feel for anyone in that commute in the south bay.
