SC charge rate cycling up and down

We were at Belleville SC yesterday and encountered some odd behaviour. On unit #6, we plugged in our Model 3 and the charge rate started cycling up and down, like it was hunting for the right rate to use. We waited, but it never stabilized. After a while it just seemed to cycle up and down between 20kW and 69kW, oscillating about once a minute.

After we moved the car to unit #8, the charge cycled up to 100kW and proceeded normally.

Has anyone have any insights? Other than unit #6 is possibly faulty...

You did correct thing move your car to another stall to confirm not your car

Yup, I opened a service ticket so that Tesla would review the logs. They believe it's not the car and closed the ticket.

So hopefully they'll do something about the stall / software etc.
