Does anyone know if Tesla or any other toymaker is going to create (or has already) a scale model of the Model S? Haven't seen anything from Maisto/Mattel etc... Ditto for Fisker. Seems like it would be great advertising to have a model on one's desk/office while they wait for the car's delivery...
Fisker has a matchbox car: Tesla sent me an RC Roadster a while back, I'd like to see one of the S as well.
Yeah i have a few of those... I'm thinking more like a foot long 1/16 scale model... rather than the 1/64th Hotwheels...
I soooooo agree on that. A 1/18 scale diecast of the Model S in needed w/opening parts. The wheel rims should be the turbine ones with color options of black or silver. Plus the color black for the car would be a bonus as well
I hope this means a 1/18 scale model from Hot Wheels Elite. Not some crappy 1/64 scale. BTW, where can I find the petition to Mattel?
Well I just sent Autoart an email suggesting the idea. Even suggesting they call up Musk if they have to for licensing agreements and all that jazz. Now we sit and wait and hopes the idea goes somewhere.
whoot! I did the same. I'm sure there are a lot of members here who would easily pay for one of these if they were well made!
It's neat but missing: Signature nose cone Fog lights Performance interior trim (red) Tesla center caps on wheels Wrong tire tread Panoramic roof T and badging on turn signal triangles Rear diffuser should be shiny (tech) or black (non-tech) not matte gray Spoiler Model S badging on trunk P85 badging on trunk Signature script on rear trunk crossbar Headliner is too dark (it looks black rather than creme) Gray pictures suggest they have the charge port on the wrong (passenger) side
