Scale model of Model S?

I'd like to see an R/C version. Model S is pretty much an r/c car anyway with its giant removable battery pack. :smile: Then again all you need is the body anyway. Just put a model S body on a traxxas x-o. Voila. A true r/c model however, built just like the real one would be interesting. Should be easy with a custom flat lipo battery.

Tesla's only just now expanding into the EU, and as far as I know there are no concrete plans for the rest of the world. Probably just need to give it some time for the car to have a wider reach before they'll reconsider.

Err... Not international? The model S is available in US, EU, and China. They even changed the name of the company for China:

Good luck to your friend. I hope he'll talk some sense into AA to also make the Zenvo ST-1, some Spykers, Mastretta MXT, VUHL 05, and the KTM X-BOW in 1/18 as well.

Am I reading this correctly? 1:43 for ~$80? That seems a bit much. I would pay that for 1:18.
