While the Track Mode display and other data loggers work well, I found Scan My Tesla worked really well not for just data logging the parameters that you could only get from an ODB2 connection but also as telemetry. I mounted an 8" tablet to an adjustable free floating mount that doesn't get in the way of the steering's highest limit but is still visible as a standard binnacle. I hacked an automotive tablet holder (intended primarily for 10" tablets, iPads) into a bolt-on solution. Holds firm, no sharking, no unwanted movement under lateral loads and/or going over rough streets. Feels like the car should have had a binnacle all along. I originally tried a phone holder but the smaller display only allowed for 4 parameters to be clearly visible, also the phone holders I tried were to flimsy for track use. Tablet comes off quickly and easily to stow out of sight or take with me when parking in public.
