Scheduled departure charging to 100% with off peak hours ending at 00:30am

If I set the car to charge to 100% by 9am and I've told the car that my 4hr cheap rate ends at 00:30am (Octopus Go Faster) am I right in thinking that the car is 'intelligent' enough to only charge to say 90% (or some other value) during the cheap rate time and then do the last 10% top-up just prior to departing?

Or will it just attempt to charge to 100% during the peak rate and then sit there at 100% from 00:30am until we leave at 9am.

I have a Tesla charge so the car is in control of the charging.

No.

Unfortunately not...you are one of many who have asked this question.
There are a number of answers on how to fix this based on your setup, if you use TeslaFi or other software that can set routines to help.
The Ohme or the Ev energy apps mght be helpful as they can control when your car charges and prevent it from charging over a certain price per kW.

No problem, thanks for the replies. I'll charge it to 90% over night and will top it up manually before I leave
