Screen clean mode with protective glass?

I had a protective glass screen cover put on and it works fine. Yesterday I went to clean the screen and put it in screen clean mode ( easy enough ) but when I was done it didn't want to come out of screen clean mode.

I had to press very hard and hold it a couple of seconds to get it out of screen clean mode.

I am worried that pressing that hard may damage my screen.
Is there another way to get it out of screen clean mode?

Anyone else run into this?

I've got oceans 11 new glass screen protector (or whatever their name is) and have not had issues getting out of cleaning mode.

Put car into drive to quickly exit screen cleaning mode.

Edit to add: Abstract Ocean 9H tempered glass protector.

Thanks for the tip. I don't remember what brand the screen protector is and don't have the box anymore.

No issue here with the AO one.

You should not have to press hard on the screen since it's a capacitive and not a resistive touch screen.

You probably don't have to hold hard, but you do have to hold it gor a long time, so it assumes that you are wiping it.
