Anyone knows of a company that makes screen protectors for the Model S Refresh 2021 (Plaid / LR). Since there is now a display in the front and back I would like to get protectors for both especially the back.

If not anyone knows of a good screen protector that can be customized or cut to fit?

I bought one from EVAnnex for my old S, surely they will introduce for the new S soon. You could ask them if the previous model can be cut (I'd think so).

If you don't mind cleaning fingerprints off once in a while you may not need to protect the screen. I'm about to receive my third Model S( 2015, 2018, and next week 2021) and have not had any scratching of the screen. I've even carried 2x4 in the car. They never touched the screen.

It’s been 6 days since I picked up my Plaid so I figured I’d chime in with my experience thus far. Overall I think Tesla really stepped up their game with their paint and the fit and finish - it’s much better than my 2019 Model 3 Performance. My main issues are:
-misalignment of the rear passenger door which requires noticeably more effort to close than the rest of them
- rear trunk lining wasn’t secured on the left side when facing the rear
- shaky drivers side mirror

thankfully no dash dent that a lot of people are reporting. The car is truly amazing and worth it... even if the company gave me the worst delivery experience possible.

I tend to agree with this. I’ve had a screen protector on mine since day 1 and honestly I think it was unnecessary. But we all love protecting our babies!

Same here. Just contact your delivery specialist who contacts you for an update. I was originally told September October, I text him asking about the the delays I have been hearing about and I got an email the next day saying October 31st to November 20th. I’m sure that will be pushed back again, hopefully not, but at least I now have a time line.

I was originally told September October, I text him asking about the the delays I have been hearing about and I got an email the next day saying October 31st to November 20th. I’m sure that will be pushed back again, hopefully not, but at least I now have a time line.

Are you suggesting that the delivery specialist has actually been in contact with you? I've not heard a peep since my initial order in March. When I spoke to someone in the Tampa mall location about my order, it was obvious he was barely maintaining body temperature and wasn't able to find anything of value. That was about a month ago.

I'm so glad that you mentioned a shaky drivers side mirror! That was the first thing I noticed too! Just picked up our S yesterday. Were you able to get an resolution on the mirror?

I spoke with my SC the other day and they said the replacements right now are also shaky. Definitely report it now so it is documented but they suggested holding off a bit to actually replace the mirror.

Same here. Driver side mirror is vibrating. Also just to give you a perspective - I took delivery on June 30, had a mobile service appointment for this a week later and I am still waiting for the new mirror. What’s interesting is that the battery died at 2800 miles and they replaced it (took them almost 3 weeks), so it’s not like parts don’t exist for the new S
