Screw in Tire, Replace or Take a Chance?

Sigh... I keep running into replacement scenario's with these tires but I just want them GONE.
They're unnecessarily expensive and too narrow for the performance models.

@Ren.OG Life is short. Ditch the OE PZ4 (or any car's stock tire you don't like) and move on. My PZ4 went into a shed after 1k miles, along with the Uberturbines themselves, and I'm not missing them in the slightest. New, better tires (and wheels in my case) were money well spent.

^^^^This. Too close to sidewall. Not in the repair area. Any reputable shop won’t touch it. I just went through this exact scenario same location on the outer side. I actually posted a thread on it with photos.

spend $250 for a new tire and be safe, or save $250 and risk having a blowout and doing few $k worth of damage to the fender & side of the car, or crashing, or your safety.

the only option any of us would choose, is to save the $250, obviously.

Any other month I'd just get it replaced, Uncle Sam got me BROKE for April.
