Great news! I often drive past that place and think that would be a good location, I was sure the old BMW was going to be it but then Jaguar moved in, they have one CCS that they ICE with their own landrovers most days, then chain it up at night

Demographic makes sense for this location, there are a lot of Teslas in Bayside Melbourne. It's a nice high profile spot too and nearest SC are either Richmond or Camberwell.

Anyone traveling to the nepean highway car dealerships will pass here from the city as it's one of the first yards so maybe they will consider a Tesla instead of a combustion car.
I hope they install superchargers, it seems Alexandria service centre in Sydney doesn't have superchargers. Artarmon doesn't show on Google anymore either.
Nepean highway makes sense as it's a major arterial, Camberwell on the other hand doesn't seem logical. Box hill/Doncaster would have made more sense imo to cover the eastern freeway traffic, Richmond already covers the Monash

New store is now open. While it's a bit bare at the moment, my test drive was moved here from Chadstone and the was a Model 3 performance, LR, SR and model X available.

There was definitely 1, maybe 2. They were being used to charge the car between test drives, not sure if accessible to public.

Dropped in just after Christmas, staff said they sold the two X's they had in the prior week. There's now just one lonely M3 in the showroom.

Hopefully superchargers go in soon.

I spoke to the bloke in store this arvo- said there are no plans at this stage for superchargers..

Just drove past the Tesla Elsternwick/Brighton showroom and saw there are two large for lease signs across the front. Looks like the Tesla SC + showroom are moving out?

A bit sad for us, they are the closest SC. They only recently (last ~2 months) updated signage

I drive past it every day heading into and out of work. Test drove the model 3, 3P and then Y here. Shame to see it going and I wonder if they’re relocating somewhere close by. Getting into the showroom can get unnecessarily tricky during peak hours.

Can't imagine Tesla is moving unless they have a new site.

Was a big site but did appear that getting into it was difficult, hence not a good supercharger site.

Tesla has been buying sites elsewhere in Aus.

Car was in Richmond for a warranty job and chanced this up with my service advisor. Lease ends in December and will move to a bigger showroom with superchargers ‘down the road’ where the car showrooms are. ‘Not public facing information’ when pressed further . I drive on Nepean regularly, will look out who is vacating.

There’s been an abandoned Jeep showroom on Nepean hwy and lower Dandenong rd for some time (Mentone/Parkdale)
I think a few brands may have had a go there. Seeing tesla don’t bother with advertising and the cars sell themselves, it might suit them.
