I've read about it happening on the Model S, but looks like the problem is happening on the Model 3 also.
At slightly over 1000 miles the passenger side seatbelt will not release past 3 or 4 inches as the locking mechanism is engaged.
I just called Tesla earlier today on the steering wheel cover problem for a mobile repair center solution, but looks like I'll need to bring the car to the service center after all.
