Seatbelt alarm, with backseat folded

I had the middle seatbelt alarm go off, all backseat where folded down and I had some boxes on top, equally across the backseats.
Only the middle seatbelt alarm went off not the outer ones.
Tesla says it does that, but it doesn't make sense to me, it shouldn't be doing that when the seats are folded, cause nobody can sit in them.

Anybody have an answer og have experienced this?

Yes, I also experience this. There is no sensor to identify if the back seats are folded or up, only a weight sensor in the seat and seatbelt buckled or not. As a result, seat backs folded or not, if there is weight in the seat, it will indicate the need for a seatbelt.

It is an annoyance, but you can disable the chime/image it by pressing the car seat button when it comes up.

Likely only the middle seat comes up because the middle section of the seat itself is higher and the arm rest/middle back protrudes more than the outer seats.
