So we are preparing to bring home a newborn and ran into an issue with the the latch system (Costco light-n-comfy 24).
It appears the webbing is about an inch to long to securely anchor the base using the latch system. Notice I can get a full hand between the harness and the base.
If a put a full twist in the webbing, I can get the base secure. (yes any rock climber will tell you that you have reduced your webbing strength by half).
Since the latch system is more secure than using a seatbelt, looking for some thoughts and safe suggestions. Poolnoodle, folded towel, tweeting lord Elon to install latches on top of the glass roof...
