Not surprising I suppose. So if anyone want to jump the queue and get one today you can just pay the £64,995 price tag. I think it's the Performance plus with white interior which is £54,090 + docking fee from Tesla direct.

So hes charging 10k for the privilege of jumping the queue.
 
I once had a very early version of a car generating much interest. Some dealer offered to buy it from me at much inflated price, I guess for them to inflate further. I declined as I bought it for me to drive not to sell (I still have it, over 20 years later).

Couple of months later, I got curious and looked if any s/h were on open market as new deliveries were freely available by then. They had soon depreciated and anyone who had bought to make a quick profit would have found themselves in a slightly less quick loss making position.

No idea how many got sold at inflated prices, but the window of opportunity to make some quick money probably only lasted a month or so.
