I think this was the only real "new" thing unveiled at the event tonight.

My guess is the second row console is an extra accessory that can be purchased and installed through a service center like the front console on Model S. It's pretty clear on the website that the six seat configuration as delivered from the factory just has an open space between the second row seats.

I think the better question is does anyone know if you can actually get a center console like they showed?

It's not listed anywhere on website and in another thread someone said a Tesla employee stated they were still "playing with it".

Signature res holders have been reporting that they will not have a console.
