I visited my hometown last summer; a sleepy town where few people even recognize a Tesla. No one in town owned at Tesla yet. In fact, many people though I put a custom "Tennessee Titan" logo on my car
BUT, I was driving around the lake on a narrow road where people routinely walk; speed limit under 5 mph. With windows rolled down, we slowly passed a married couple with a small child. They saw us coming and moved aside. As we passed, the wife said "Honey, what kind of car is that?" The dad said he didn't know. The kid said "Daddy, that's a Tesla!" We started laughing and stopped the car to ask how old is your kid. He was 5. They all got a kick out of riding in the model X around the lake. Now they all will recognize a Tesla.
