First family car I remember as a kid was our 1950 Buick. Had a DynaFlo transmission that was smooth as butter. Later family cars ’55 Olds, '60 Lincoln clunky transmissions. Always wondered what happened to DynaFlo. Nice car.
Thanks. Yes, beautiful car. The '49 is a bit unique in styling, with the more swept back rear end. It actually made it more modern that the subsequent years. Mine was not the Dynaflow though. It was 3-on-the-tree (now with 700 overdrive transmission)
