Well, since trolls aren’t interested in productive discussion, no excuses are to be had!
In over 2 years, my Model 3 has only noted parking spots 3 times - always at superchargers, no where else. Even those instances, it went very slow (with no other cars either adjacent or across), and then quit before in position to charge. Pretty lame. Kind of like FSD beta.
One of my favorite cars is the BMW 02 seriesHave a 2017 BMW and it parks itself fine. Parking is not exactly rocket science

I long stopped using Tesla auto park. Especially considering it gave my wheels curb rash!
I drove my sister-in-laws Ford about 8 years ago, it's park assist was way better. Still needed to actually push the gas peddle, however it did the turning itself and worked every time!

Watching the video makes me think all these other manufacturers are likely to achieve true FSD before Tesla, considering the Tesla's can't even park!
Is it really that hard to drive the car yourself?

Out of several smart summon attempts and auto park attempts, I have not have a single successful one yet. It sucks that even the gimmicky party tricks don’t work after cashing out all that money for FSD.
Last 4? Cars I’ve owned had “self parking” capabilities. Honestly, they all sucked. I’ll give Volvo credit, they had a “park out” function, that would pull the car out of a parallel park situation, that was kinda cool. The Tesla system is cool because you don’t have to actually shift the car from D to R , and work the brake pedal like I had to on the Volvo’s. But otherwise, they all suck, and I only used them as a “novelty”, like “smart summon”.

All it needed to do was pull out of the spot and drive forward
One time it pulled out of the spot and stopped with the wheels turned, blocking the entire row. I had to run to it to hop in so I can move the embarrassment out of the way of other cars LOL. I now only try it when there’s no one else around.
