Self Presenting Driver Side Door Not Opening Fully

In case anybody's X was having the same issue.

Basically if you walk from the front of the car the door opens a few inches and should open fully when you walk pass the door. My vin is 46xxx and it hasn't worked since day one. But my SC has finally figure it out and here is the description from the repair sheet. Hope this helps!

Concern: Customer: my left front power door does not self-open to the correct angle.
Corrections: Module - Ultrasonic Door Sensors - LH
Verified customers concern. ultrasonic door sensor was found to be faulty. Ultrasonic door
sensor was removed and replaced.
Corrections: Carrier - Sensor - Ultrasonic - Rear Door - LH
Ultrasonic sensor carrier was removed and replaced.

This is happening to me as well. It worked originally. Now only works to open door a few inches when I walk from front of car past driver door. It no longer auto presents whatsoever if I walk from back of car to front driver door. I bet it's a sensor. Time for appointment at SC.

It does sound like a sensor issue!

Dropped off car to SC today. Not ready yet - initial report is that they're replacing the Body Control Module.
