They would have sent you tpms sensors for your Model S. If you have a VIN <50900 it is gen 1 sensors and >50900 then it is gen 2.

Tesla only ships the wheels to the SC. The SC then mounts the tires and adds TPMS. I suspect if you sold them that the SC would install either gen by request.
