Selling on Vroom, Carvana or Driveway

So I’m probably selling my Model 3 and have gotten quotes from the above online car sellers. Anybody have experiences with any? Did it go smoothly? Would you do it again? I’ve never bought or sold through any of them so have a little apprehension. Looking for feedback. Any others I’m missing?

I have heard bad things about Carvana and Vroom but have no personal experience. I always sell via craigslist and a free ad on cars.com.

What about Carmax? We sold to them the last few times. Better offers than Carvana and Vroom.

Did Vroom and Driveway. They came through with no issues. Took about a month with each from beginning to end.

They already paid my loan and wired the profit to my bank account. I’m just waiting on them to pick up the car. I assume the holiday slowed it down. Assuming I will hear from them tomorrow.

I will also add that I got the online quote, they then inspected the car in person which took 10-15 minutes. They adjusted the quote because my tires have less than 50% life left so we negotiated a number that we could both live with.

I sold a car today to Carvana. They showed up on time, handed me a check and were gone within 15 minutes. One of the best transactions I've ever had. They also paid be a shocking amount for my car. Their offer was much higher than the competition.

Keep in mind that values are way, way down on these sites from just last month. 20-30% in some cases.

I had the opposite happen. Carvana raised their offer on my car this month vs last month. It was about a 5% increase.

I’ve sold two cars to Carvana in the past year. Flawless execution on their part — offered a full and fair price, showed up on time, handed me a check in exchange for keys/title. Took 15 minutes tops. I would definitely do business with them again

Driveway was great. Rep showed up on time in an Uber, inspected for a few minutes, grabbed the title, and subsequently handed me a check for the car before driving it off.

Sold my 335i to carvana in 2020. Got a decent offer and payment was quick and smooth to the bank and got the difference by check. Whole in person process took 15 min tops.

Carvana did great for me. Process with the vin, offer was good for 30 days. I just have a video call with a notary, then schedule pickup or deliver. They wanted me to drive down to Portland so I opted to just have them pick it up near me with a flat bed.
It was uneventful and way more enjoyable than test driving with random people and interrupting my day.

Have sold and bought a few cars from Carvana over the past few years and have zero complaints. Sold a MYP to Vroom for $70k recently and no issues there, though the process did take a bit longer then Carvana's.

How much did you get for the 2020 MY? Your specs? Mileage? Etc.
