Hi I am selling my new Tesla model Y Long range Performance Model. I picked it up Saturday 4/11/2020. Driven from dealership to my garage. Has 28 miles on it. Exterior color Midnight Silver, Interior color Black, 21” Uberturbine Wheels. Fully loaded with Full self driving included. Garage kept.

So, $7K more than brand new. What makes this worth that much more than a new car?

I won it and we have three vehicles currently and now 4 with this model y and with our kids it’s just not big enough unfortunately

You do realize that the Y’s are available right now. I received 3 calls with offers of immediate delivery because of cancellations. 2 Performance Y’s and one AWD, all three were grey. Tesla may not have excess inventory nationwide but eventually they will shift them if they don’t sell all locally. I might have considered one of the Performance ones but I dislike black interiors. I told them to call back when they have a white interior, I think the white interiors are in demand due to less initial supply. If you can sell at sticker you are doing really good because even with 28 miles the next owner is getting a 2nd hand car compared to just buying new.

So the Y and Roadsters Tesla are giving away as part of their referral program are Founder's Series. They are autographed by Elon Musk. Can we see that? Your price may be too low if it truly is a Founder's Series vehicle.

Just call an owner advisor and have them search inventory cars, those I turned down should have sold by now even with so many cancellations. If they are giving referral cars away you have to realize that they have excess inventory. Nothing negative about the car but with the Virus they have lots of cancellations. You may have to talk to a few different people because Y’s are currently being treated a bit differently in they way show stock inventory. They are not discounted at all yet and they want to keep demand up. These offered to me were all in South Florida and I know of at least one of them that was offered to me was sold to a person who was posting pics and video on Facebook. I’m looking to buy another X instead for what you get for the money. When the cheaper Y’s arrive or they start discounts on Performance Y’s I’ll consider. I have to laugh at someone thinking the price is too low if it’s a Founders series when all the S&X Founders series cars carry no extra value. Maybe in 100 years an unused Founders series something might mean something.

I doubt anyone buying a used Tesla cares much if a car is a Founders series unless they get it as a free perk. I’ve seen over the last few years people on here trying unsuccessfully to get any premium for their signed sunvisors cars. They end up being the brunt of everyone’s jokes with loads of people negative commenting. I’ve never got anything free except referral miles myself. I have bought quite a few sets of new referral wheels a good discounts. Enough with the free bumps

my referrals were from 2019 and they notified me I won in February by email, which I thought was spam lol. Just picked up the model y this past Saturday
