Send text message via voice command not working

When I say “send text message to [name]”, it takes me to the messages tab and nothing further.

Cannot find the answer on Google, YouTube, or TMC. Yes, my phone and profile is connected and messages are set as synced.

Any help appreciated!

Have you considered un-pairing your phone and pairing it again. Same happens on Apple phones sometimes. This has worked for me in the past. Best of luck.
