sending MX to fla

if delivery goes as planned.....i will be sending my car to fla a few weeks later. are there any specifics/ concerns i need to alert the the transport driver to be aware of. It is going in a covered normal car transport trailer, and the driver owns a body shop as his full time gig. we have used this man for years....just not sure if he has ever loaded any teslas or if there are any specific issues loading & unloading the ModelX

Second thing that come to mind is make sure BATTERY DOESN'T COMPLETELY DRAIN. How many days is the trip? I have heard nightmare stories about car transport companies where cars were delayed in transport by weeks.

barring any bad weather he makes it in 2/3 days

You don't want front door to pop open when the drive climbs back into rig with your key in his pocket. There is a setting to enable/disable self-presenting doors

thanks so much!! Can you just Lock the doors with the Fob & done??

You can lock the doors, but if you have the auto-presenting doors enabled, the car will still unlock and open the driver door when the keyfob is close.
