Geez, that level of mindless idiocy makes me so mad just watching the video!!! I can tell I’m going to love using sentry when I get my RHD Model 3. So pleased it worked out well for you.

Some are a part of the solution.

Some are part of the problem.

    ..Sigh

Oh. That's what I was worried about. In this country a partial plate is useless. If you don't get all of it you are SOL.

    Disappointing.

Some people think your car is a door-stop...

Some cars do have rubber bump strips along the doors... But too ugly for Tesla I guess.

Almost irony. Had trade in to buy a Model 3 (and get me some Sentry mode) then this happened the day before my Model 3 test drive while at Home Depot. Looks like it was probably some type of truck since cars are lower and even SUV's have a neoprene bumper plus it looks sharp, like a commercial truck. Would LOVE to know and see (though it would be painful) what happened. Or better yet would love for it to have NOT happened.

The model 3 doors are made of aluminum, the truck door is probably steel, and since since steel is harder than aluminum they can easily damage the model 3 doors.

The fact that the driver of the Navigator picked that particular parking place in an area away from other cars, it almost looks like she did it on purpose. Maybe Teslaenvy?

That looks 100% intentional, especially if you were parked away from others.

A good Singaporean caning would stop vandals and create a market for fluffy seat cushions in one stoke.. or fifty.

It does seem intentional if you were parked away from any other cars. It also looks a bit breezy. Perhaps the wind caught her door.

I heard sentry mode is available for AP2.0 cars now. Is this true?

Intentional or not, makes no difference when it comes to the restitution.

You park next to a car you take the consequences of potentially damaging the car next to you.

Not yet, maybe someday. But the Tesla Stats App is great. Much more functionality than the current Tesla official app. I was saying the the Stats App will turn on Sentry Mode if you forget.

Wow, I didn't think Sentry Mode wasn't to critical but looks like it is.

Yes, use it. You never know when someone is going to hit your car.

Makes me think of the A Holes with a sticker on their car that reads: “if you park next to me my kids will ding your sh*t”. My four year old knows to open the door slowly and not damage a car.

Better parenting and more responsibility for one’s actions are what is needed here.
