Sentry Mode Dashcam Keep Disappearing

I have the RAVPower Portable External SSD Pro
1. 512GB Hard Drive with 540MB/S Data Transfer
2. USB 3.1 Gen 2 Interface

Here is my entire process
1. Plug the SSD
2. Format the drive
3. It show the Dashcam
4. After a while Dashcam disappear
5. Unplug and plug back
6. Dashcam setting ask to format the drive
7. Formatted the SSD
8. Show the Dashcam icon

Then it keeps in that loop and I never get the dashcam to work.

I switch the ssd from the USB to the USB-C and now it is working.

I was having a similar issue and partitioned the drive with a separate 32GB drive and put the TeslaCam folder in there. No issues since. Waste of space but I only need the last file if something happens.

Something is new in 2020.48.5 - I got an triangle icon at the top of the screen; tapping it, I got message suggesting a larger drive than the 32GB I'd been using forever. Replaced SDHC card (in a USB 3.0 adapter) with 128GB and message is gone.

I read that. I guess I'll have to partition a 64GB when I get my update.

so I have a 256GB SDHC Card in a USB 3.0 adapter - same thing keeps disappearing in the model 3. Should I partition it?

Since installing 2022.4 in our Legacy Model S with MCU2 last Thursday we've been having issues with our Samsung T7 for SentryMode. The car will show an error with the drive. We try to reformat in the car but that doesn't work. We'll reformat via computer & add the TeslaCam folder & it will work fr less than 24 hours then it fails. When I bring the drive inside I discover that the TeslaCam folder has disappeared off the SSD. We had been using this drive with no issues from October when we bought it until installing 2022.4 last Thursday. I have reformatted the drive on both Windows & Mac computers but the car still accepts the T7 at first & then says it can't use it within 24 hours.

Any ideas to fix this?
